As Senior Vice President of the Fulton County Economic Development Corporation, Jeff will serve the Company in a senior advisory and consulting capacity. The activity areas will include marketing initiatives, project development, client negotiations, financing, administrative issues, and governmental relationships.
Jeff directed the FCEDC since 1991. He and his staff have overseen the development and construction of over 28 new business and industrial facilities representing over 2,400,000 square feet with a total investment in excess of $200 million. The FCEDC administers six revolving loan funds with a loan portfolio of $6M, and has made over 100 business loans during Jeff’s tenure. His more than 37 years of business and economic development experience have helped Fulton County realize an employment increase of 3,500 people. For his efforts, Jeff received the New York State Economic Development Council’s 2002 Robert T. Dormer Developer of the Year Award. From May 2006 through May 2008, he served as New York State Chairman of the Board of Directors for the New York State Economic Development Council (NYSEDC). He has presented numerous seminars on Economic Development along with representing the Mohawk Valley region in a Congressional presentation in Washington, D.C. in 1995.
Jeff Bray serves as a Director and Vice President of the Mohawk Valley Economic Development District (MVEDD) and has served as Chairman of their Overall Economic Development Program since 1995. He holds the position of Vice Chairman for both Fulton County Regional Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Nathan Littauer Hospital and Nursing Home’s Board of Directors. Jeff is the Past-Chairman for Fulton Montgomery Community College’s Foundation Board. He is the Secretary for CIC’s Board of Directors. He is also a member of the following Boards; Colonial Healthcare Corporation, Mountain Valley Hospice, the Fulton County YMCA, and NBT Bank’s Capital Region Advisory Board.
Jeff graduated from the State University of New York at Oneonta with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics.
